彼得•德默兹 | Peter Demetz 捷克裔美国著名学者，耶鲁大学斯特林讲席日耳曼语言及比较文学荣休教授。1922年出生于布拉格，1949年离开故土，此后赴美，在耶鲁大学长期任教，直至1991年退休。2000年，捷克政府向他颁发荣誉勋章，以表彰他“向全世界介绍捷克文化”。
